12 Best Indian Companies in Forbes Global 2000 List

Forbes list of world’s best 2000 companies has been published and there are 12 best Indian companies in Forbes Global 2000 list have been placed. In top 50 Indian firms only two Indian IT giant companies Infosys and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) ranked 31st and 35th respectively.

Indian auto & truck manufacturer Tata Motors grab the 70th position in this list, the only automobile company from India under top 100 where as Mahindra & Mahindra auto & truck manufacturer get the 164th position.

Indian iron and steel companies are also made their presence in this in world’s best companies. Another Tata company Tata Steel ranked 131st and Indian Maharatna PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) SAIL (Steel Authority of India) ranked 227th also secured their positions.

The only Indian Bank the consumer financial services HDFC secured its position and ranked 217th in this list. There is also a state owned diversified Insurance company General Insurance Corporation of India grab the 156th position.

Indian construction services and materials companies also made their marks and secured the positions in the Global 2000 list, they are Larsen & Toubro and Grasim Industries ranked 135th and 154th respectively. Specialized Chemicals and Paints Company of Asian Paints also placed in this list and secured 203rd rank. Indian Tobacco company also ITC made their mark in this list and grab 239th position.

Top 3 firms in the Forbes Global 2000 list are Broadcasting & Cable firm Walt Disney ranked 1st followed by Hotels & Motels firm Hilton ranked 2nd and Auto & Truck Manufacturers firm Ferrari ranked 3rd.

So the total 12 Indian firms are successfully made their marks in Forbes Global 2000 list ranking 2018 and wish more Indian firms will make their presence in this list next year.
