Video Recording Test Scenarios

  1. Verify the availability of Video Recorder device like Multimedia Mobile phones, Smartphone, Handycam, Digital Camera, CCTV etc.
  2. Verify the device ON and setting of the device should be in Video Recording mode.
  3. Verify that the lens of the Camera should have clear view to record.
  4. Verify that Recording button should appear to record in video recording mode.
  5. Verify that Timer should appear while recording a video.
  6. Verify that there should be enough space in the device or SD card to record and save a video.
  7. Verify the Play the recording feature and check whether the video have been recorded successfully or not with desired quality.
  8. Verify the Recording button, Stop button, Continue button, Cancel button should appear while recording.
  9. Verify the Play and Pause feature while play the recorded video.
  10. Verify that if front and back camera available in the device then check the availability of recording option from both cameras.
  11. Verify the Recording Quality of both the Cameras is same or different when both sides of camera features like Mega Pixel are same.
  12. Verify the Recording Quality of both the Cameras is same or different when both sides of camera features like Mega Pixel are different.
  13. Verify the Settings of both sides of Cameras are different or same.
  14. Verify the Mega pixel of Recording Camera.
  15. Verify the Flips Per Second (FPS) of Camera like 30 fps, 24 fps, 48 fps etc.
  16. Verify the Sensors and its specification of the Recording Camera.
  17. Verify the effect in Recording a Video in Less light.
  18. Verify the effect in Recording a Video in Normal light.
  19. Verify the effect in Recording a Video in More light.
  20. Verify the effect on Colour recording capability in Less, Normal and More light conditions.
  21. Verify the effect on Black and White recording capability in Less, Normal and More light conditions.
  22. Verify the availability of Recording feature with different kind of colour effects.
  23. Verify the Video if recorded with different kind of colour effects.
  24. When clicked on recording button, recording time should be display correct.
  25. When clicked on pause button, again tap on continue recording button recording time should be continuing from paused duration.
  26. After clicking on stop video recording button, recording should be stop & saved in a gallery.
  27. Check the gallery for the same video recording play the video,check pause,sound feature & check the duration.
  28. Verify that the option of Output video at Lower resolution is available or not.
  29. Verify that the Mic in the recording camera is available or not to record the audio also.
  30. Verify that the output video format. for example: .mkv, .avi, .mp4 etc.
